Sam and Dee Hammaker started ClearView Window and Door in 1992 in Parkville, Maryland out of a pure love for the impact replacement products have on our customers’ quality of life. Today, ClearView is a second-generation company where the triplet children are coming to work, learning the industry, and bringing new ideas to the table. Our office and showroom in Parkville was once a local ice cream shop and we are still sweet today with best of breed windows and doors that you can touch and feel and this makes a difference.
We’re passionate about windows because we’ve seen how the right ones result in homeowners falling in love again. And with over 7,000 customers, we now serve the next generation of kin which strengthens our commitment and is deeply rewarding. Our model is to keep it simple and clear. This has led to the introduction of all-inclusive transparent pricing, honest guidance, and solutions designed around real life, not sales quotas. And because we’re committed for the long haul, our relationship doesn’t end at installation; it’s built on decades of customer care and accountability.
Since the early days of installing Grisham security doors down in the city, we have worked with an abundance of products including (and especially) OKNA (since 1994), Marvin (once a distributor too), ProVia, Pella, Vytex, Sunrise, MI (Milgard Industries), Oknoplast, Casco, Jen Weld, Alside, Peachtree, Masonite, Therma Tru, Casco, Home Guard Industries, and others no longer in the industry, or simply inferior in quality. We are always looking for better and frequently provide potential customers with brand comparisons on energy, air infiltration, DP ratings, and warranty. In this way, you can see how windows stack up to better decide the best next step for you and your family.
